PIGEON FORGE, Tennessee (Sept. 8, 2026) – Pigeon Forge (Tennessee) welcomes the fall season with new family fun, not-so-scary Halloween antics and harvest décor throughout the city.
Only six miles from the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Pigeon Forge visitors can enjoy brilliant fall colors in America’s most-visited national park with a scenic drive, hiking trails and camping options.
Pigeon Forge businesses embrace the fall spirit with harvest and Halloween decorations, along with autumn flavors at area restaurants and distilleries. Among the festive décor, Pigeon Forge’s Scarecrow People photo ops greet visitors at businesses throughout the city. Visitors can enjoy a free scarecrow scavenger hunt and try to spot each friendly face.

- Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud: Fall Feudin’ Fiasco! –the dinner show features fall festival fun and seasonal mischief from the famous feuding families (Sept. 11 to Nov. 5)
- Harvey’s Boo Bash at Dollywood’s Harvest Festival featuring Great Pumpkin LumiNights – this ticketed after-hours celebration features treat trails, dance parties, night rides and more (Oct. 16, 23 and 30). Dollywood’s immersive indoor coaster, NightFlight Expedition is also open to park guests.
- Slick City Action Park – the new indoor slide park with more than 20 slides, air courts, games and a candy shop.
- Rocket Fizz Candy & Soda Shop – candy and soda shop at The Mountain Mile featuring fizzy and sweet treats from across the country and around the world.
- Jurassic Adventure, featuring more than 20 animatronic dinosaurs, at The Island in Pigeon Forge (through Sept. 13)

- Crave Golf Club Halloween Craveyard Nights – includes themed miniature golf, painting contests, and a themed escape room (select nights Oct. 1-31)
- Rocky Top Mountain Coaster Zombie Invasion – featuring festive lights, goblins, and ghosts throughout the ride (Oct. 1-31)
- Pigeon Forge Halloween Spooktacular & Safety Day –Free trick-or-treating, games and safety demonstrations beginning at 3 p.m. at the Pigeon Forge Community Center (Oct. 29)
- Trick-or-Treat at The Island in Pigeon Forge – free trick-or-treating for kids from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Free parking and shuttle. (Oct. 31)
- Halloween Weekends at KOA – weekends in October, KOA in Pigeon Forge hosts a Halloween golf cart parade, costume contests, a pet costume contest, trick or treating and a haunted carnival with games and prizes for campground guests.
