Devaney Brings Extra Laughs to Comedy Barn

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (January 2012) – Popular Pigeon Forge comic Danny Devaney has joined the cast of the Comedy Barn Theater.

Devaney formerly was show director and co-producer of the Great Smoky Mountain Lumberjack Feud, which opened in Pigeon Forge last August. Before that, he played “Scraps” in a dinner show produced at WonderWorks.

Devaney graduated from the Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Clown College in 1989. He then toured as a clown with Ringling Brothers for two years.

“It was an awesome experience,” Devaney said. “I got everything out of it I needed. I reached my childhood dream of performing with the Ringling Brothers Circus.”

The Comedy Barn, which is open year-round, has one show every night and two shows every night in season, as well as some scheduled matinees throughout the year.
