Dollywood fans encouraged to vote early and often
PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (Monday, November 25, 2024) — Dollywood has earned three nominations celebrating two of its newest attractions as part of the next round of USA Today’s 2024 10Best Readers’ Choice awards. A panel of experts and USA Today 10Best editors selected Dollywood’s HeartSong Lodge & Resort and The Dolly Parton Experience for the special awards.
Dollywood Parks & Resorts properties have earned much praise during the last several years from USA Today readers in 10Best voting, with the nominations typically landing near the top of the order in final voting. The current award nominations are:
- Best New Museum- The Dolly Parton Experience
- Best New Theme Park Attraction- The Dolly Parton Experience
- Best New Hotel- Dollywood’s HeartSong Lodge & Resort
The Dolly Parton Experience opened in May and features several interactive elements to make guests feel as if they were alongside Dolly as she journeyed from Locust Ridge to stages around the world. The entire Adventures in Imagination area was completely transformed to create The Dolly Parton Experience. Guests can peruse exhibits which span her unparalleled career and include a look at the inspiration behind and the results of her biggest dreams, detail the importance of her family, and highlight many of Dolly’s signature styles through the years.
Additionally, Dollywood’s HeartSong Lodge & Resort opened in November 2023, and quickly earned a nod from National Geographic as one of the world’s top 22 hotels “worth a visit” in 2024. The resort is now in the running for 10Best voting for Best New Hotel.
Voting for the awards opened today at noon and runs through Monday, December 23 at 11:59 a.m. A page with links to each voting contest can be found at www.dollywood.com/vote. Anyone is eligible to vote and may do so once per day per device. Nominees for all categories are chosen by a panel which includes a combination of editors from USA Today, editors from 10Best.com, relevant expert contributors and more.
