PIGEON FORGE, Tenn.— (Oct. 17, 2016)—A brand new half million dollar, state-of-the-art 3D LED video wall has now been installed at the Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud™. The new full-stage video wall integrates over 6 million LED lights with industry-leading 3D technology and gives guests the feeling of sitting in the midst of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. “The upgraded backdrops with their bright imagery and new video content really enhance the entertainment experience of the 800-seat Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Theater,” said David Fee, president and chief executive officer of Fee/Hedrick Family Entertainment Group.
“These new fresh visual elements bring wow-factors to our show,” he said. “We have been working on this project for over two years and were fascinated with the idea of adding an immersive 3D experience to the show for our guests. Our technical director, Marshall Whaley, has been programming the LED panels for our new backdrops, as well as extensive video content and 3D animations, and I give the highest praise to Marshall and his team who have worked on this innovative new project.” Whaley said, “The visual scenic elements change throughout the show and include barn scenes, the Smoky Mountains and a 3D animated fair set. We will continue to add new surprises as the show changes based on seasons of the year.”
The “Hatfield & McCoy Dinner Feud™” is a hilarious hit production inspired by real-life events that will put an ‘All You Can Eat’ four-course mountain feast in the kinfolk’s bellies and a smile on their faces, as they watch a lively talent competition between Pa Hatfield, Ma McCoy and their clans where the battlefield is the stage. This feudin’ show comes with a Granny’s ‘All You Can Eat’ mountain feast, served by a hillbilly waiter or waitress. Granny’s menu includes Feudin’ Fried Chicken (white and dark meat), Open Pit Pulled-to-Pieces Pork Barbecue, Southern Style Creamy Soup, Smashed Mashed Taters, Buttery Corn on the Cob, Ma’s Hot Homemade Bread, Daisy’s Blue Ribbon Coleslaw and Granny’s Famous Specialty Desserts.
