Pigeon Forge kicks off the summer season with a lineup of summer fun for all ages.
PIGEON FORGE, Tennessee (June 4, 2024) – Longer days mean more time to experience everything that Pigeon Forge has to offer visitors and residents this summer.
Whether travelers want to embrace the heat or escape it, Pigeon Forge’s summer offerings have something for every summer getaway.

New for Summer 2024
- The Dolly Parton Experience at Dollywood theme park features three distinctly themed areas
- Space Race Adventures – newly opened immersive virtual reality experience, indoor other-worldly miniature golf course, onsite cafeteria, and arcade games
- Country Cascades Waterpark Resort – Tidal Wave Roof, the first installment in the property’s Braxton Beaver’s Shipwreck Bay indoor waterpark, is open for resort guests to enjoy
- TITANIC Museum Attraction – Opening June 14, the museum unveils its limited engagement Jack & Rose exhibit featuring the iconic ornate wood “door prop” panel from the Titanic movie
- Lost Mine Mountain Coaster & Mini Golf – each alpine coaster car now features rider-facing cameras with video available for purchase.
- Sky Pirates of Mermaid Bay: An Epic Golf Adventure – newly opened indoor and outdoor mini-golf courses with immersive theming
- Jake Thomas Road connector – newly completed city thoroughfare providing easy access between Teaster Lane and Veterans Blvd. attractions
Seasonal Entertainment
- Pigeon Forge’s free Patriot Festival on July 4– festival begins at 4 p.m. and headliner performs at 8:30 p.m. prior to a fireworks display
- The Island in Pigeon Forge’s Ole Smoky Moonshine Stage – The Barn at The Island offers daily live music. Click here for lineup/times.
- Country Tonite Theatre’s Celebrity Concert Series – Diamond Rio on June 21, Randy Travis on July 26, and The Oak Ridge Boys on Sept. 20. Tickets available for purchase here.

Summer Events
- Tennessee Fishing Week – All state residents and visitors of any age may fish for free without a license in Tennessee’s public waters on June 8, 2024. Additionally, youth ages 15 or younger may fish for free the entire week, beginning on Free Fishing Day and continuing through the following Friday, June 14. org
- Legends of Tennessee Autograph Session – June 8 at The Island in Pigeon
Forge 6-8 p.m.
- Dollywood’s Summer Celebration – June 15 to Aug. 11
- Tennessee Tax Free Weekend – Tennessee’s traditional sales tax holiday on clothing, school supplies and computers takes place July 26-28
- Celebrate Freedom – discounts for veterans, current military personnel, police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and emergency medical technicians at select Pigeon Forge businesses Aug. 1-31. Visit com for a list of businesses.
