PIGEON FORGE, Tenn.–Oct. 7, 2024–On Monday, Sept. 23, The Inn at Christmas Place officially opened its Insane Christmas-themed “Winter Wonder Lagoon.” This project was developed by Lucas Congdon and his team from Lucas Lagoons of the popular hit TV show, Insane Pools. The Inn at Christmas Place began renovations in their courtyard in August of 2023 and completed phase 1 of the project in November 2023. This included new seating areas, 3 separate fire pit spaces (one of which is fully accessible), and a 20-foot fiber optic snowflake. Construction on the outdoor pool space began in October 2023 and was competed just a few weeks ago. The new pool design called for a one-of-a-kind Christmas lagoon experience. Guests enter the Winter Wonder Lagoon from the courtyard or through The North Pool (the hotel’s indoor pool). From there, guests have multiple areas to explore and enjoy:
Frosty Falls (large outdoor hot tub/pool),
Candy Cane Cascades (zero entry area with 16’ candy cane showers and bubblers),
Lazy Reindeer River (relaxing circle around the beautiful rockwork & landscaping),
Sleigh Ride Slide (figure-eight water slide),
Holly Jolly Hangout (picnic area to snack or hangout),
Gumdrop Grotto (secluded hot tub located on an island inside the lazy river),
Lagoon Landing (dock area overlooking our pond and the parkway).
