Pigeon Forge Community Center Hosts Free Safety Day & Spooktacular Event Oct. 24

Trick-or-treating, first responder safety demonstrations, costume contests offered at this family-friendly Halloween event.

PIGEON FORGE, Tennessee (Oct. 17, 2024)— The Pigeon Forge Community Center, Pigeon Forge Fire Department and Pigeon Forge Police Department will host the annual Community Spooktacular & Safety Day on Thursday, Oct. 24 at the Pigeon Forge Community Center (170 Community Center Dr).

The event will focus on festive Halloween fun as well as safety demonstrations and information from Pigeon Forge first responders. The Community Spooktacular & Safety Day is open to everyone and is free to attend.

From 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., attendees can experience interactive vendors focused on safety as well as Pigeon Forge Police Department K-9 demonstrations. Daytime trick-or-treating is also available from select safety vendors. Additionally, guests can see a variety of fire and police emergency vehicles up close and speak with the first responders who operate them.

The evening portion of the event, from 6 to 9 p.m. (rain or shine), takes place inside the Community Center and embraces not-so-scary Halloween fun for guests of all ages. Trick-or-treating will be offered from Pigeon Forge businesses and vendors along with costume contests throughout the night, a haunted house, music, and more.
