Titanic Jewelry Collection To Be Showcased in Jewelry Television’s First Remote Broadcast, Live from Titanic Museum Attraction in Pigeon Forge

One-Day Jewelry Marathon Set for Friday, Oct. 4, 2013 (12 to 2 a.m., 4 to 6 p.m., 10 p.m. to 12 a.m.)

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (September 2013) – The Titanic Museum Attraction in Pigeon Forge and Jewelry Television (JTV), one of the largest broadcast shopping networks, are taking the Titanic Jewelry Collection on the road for the first time with a live television show Friday, Oct. 4, at the Titanic Museum Attraction, according to Museum Attraction co-owner Mary Kellogg Joslyn.

“This is the very first time JTV has ever taken a show outside of its Knoxville studios, and we’re thrilled and honored to break new ground with them. We look forward to working on site with their great staff in presenting the Titanic Jewelry Collection in an authentic Titanic setting,” Joslyn said. “This exclusive line of Titanic jewelry was inspired by the women passengers on Titanic’s maiden voyage.”

“We’re excited to help share the stories of the iconic women of Titanic through jewelry,” said Kris Kulesza, vice president/general merchandising manager for JTV. “The timeless style of the jewelry worn 101 years ago continues to resonate with women today.”

From the initial launch of the Titanic Jewelry Collection in January 2012, JTV and Titanic Pigeon Forge have enjoyed one of the most successful partnerships in the broadcast shopping world. It began with when the entire collection sold out in less than a few hours during the first broadcast. Today, enthusiastic, loyal Titanic jewelry collectorsare keeping the momentum going, adding to their personal collection of high-quality pieces during each subsequent show.

“You can just imagine richly, bejeweled women making their evening appearances on Titanic’s Grand Staircase, fairly dripping in diamonds and pearls. Every woman watching on Friday, Oct. 4, will see Titanic jewels displayed against this backdrop of elegance and opulence and want to add to their collection. It’s a unique jewelry shopping spree with a mini-Titanic tour all in one,” Joslyn explained. “We value our relationship with JTV and can’t wait to give viewers the chance to experience the Titanic Museum Attraction while they shop.”

“Titanic Museum Attraction co-owner, John Joslyn’s, expedition to Titanic’s resting place at the bottom of the ocean afforded us the opportunity to collaborate on a historically accurate jewelry collection,” said Dan Chase, vice president of merchandising. “Women everywhere are now able to adorn themselves with a piece of history.”

Jamie Terrell, Titanic First Class Maid, will co-host each hour-long show and share fascinating true stories of the amazing women the Titanic Jewelry Collection honors.
