PIGEON FORGE, Tennessee (Feb. 28, 2024)—With spring break travel just around the corner, Pigeon Forge has a full slate of new experiences for visitors to enjoy in 2024, including Dollywood’s Dolly Parton Experience, Nerf and Crayola attractions, something new at Titanic Museum Attractions, and 1,350 additional hotel rooms.

“Once again, Pigeon Forge is treating our guests—both new and repeat visitors—to a vast lineup of new things to do, a promise our destination delivers on each year,” said Leon Downey, executive director of the Pigeon Forge Department of Tourism. “From spring break trips to Christmas visits and everything in between, 2024 is a great year to visit Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountains.”
Experiences
Housed in multiple buildings, the Dolly Parton Experience, opening in May, includes exhibits which span Dolly Parton’s iconic career, a look at the inspiration for and results of her biggest dreams, the importance of her family, and even a curated exhibit that highlights her signature style through the years. Dollywood’s 2024 lineup also includes a relaunch of the Lightning Rod coaster and three new shows—Trio Again, Sing Along with Dolly, and From the Heart.
The NERF Action Xperience, opening fall 2024, will be the second built in the U.S. and includes blaster battle zones, sports challenges, an obstacle course, a food and beverage area, and a retail store.
Also opening fall 2024, the Crayola Experience will feature 20 hands-on activities including name your own Crayola crayon color, personalized coloring pages, and melted wax art. It will be home to the world’s largest selection of Crayola products and souvenirs.
The ocean-themed Sky Pirates of Mermaid Bay Epic Golf Adventure offers indoor and outdoor mini-golf courses. Jurassic Tymes Mini Golf travels back in time and surrounds golfers with large-scale, interactive animatronic dinosaurs. Lost Mine Mountain Coaster and Mini Golf adds another alpine coaster to Pigeon Forge’s offerings alongside a highly themed mini-golf course.
Titanic Frozen Custard & Chocolate Attraction is next door to the half-scale ship. The attraction includes Parisian décor with large-scale murals and a 40-foot-tall mosaic glass centerpiece. The menu features frozen custard (available via walk-up windows and indoor service), Dinstuhl’s chocolates, candies and souvenirs.
Space Race Adventures includes a virtual reality experience, mini golf, laser tag and go-kart racing, all in one location.
Lodging
Visitors to the Great Smoky Mountains vacation destination have more than 15,500 overnight accommodations to choose from. New properties opening in 2024 include Embassy Suites, Cambria Hotel, a 130-room Towneplace Suites, a 152-room Compass Suites, and Staybridge Suites. The lineup joins the Wayback boutique hotel (134 rooms) and Dollywood’s HeartSong Lodge & Resort (302 rooms), both of which opened last year. Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort & Spa gets a room refresh for the new season, too.
Shopping
Circle Bar T Forge & Bladeworks offers blacksmithing lessons for individuals and groups along with metal crafts and custom works. Shop the latest fashions and accessories at the, and Sunnyland Farms, located in the Mountain Mile entertainment complex, sells fresh pecans, nuts, goodies and gifts.
Dining
Cook Out (burgers and 40 milkshake flavors), Crumbl (weekly gourmet cookie flavors), Solorzano’s Pizzeria (New York-style pizza), Tennessee Stud Cider Co. (hard apple cider located at The Island in Pigeon Forge),(smash burgers, sandwiches and breakfast), Tijuana Flats (Tex-Mex for all), and Waffle House (American diner fare and all-day breakfast) are recent additions to the restaurant lineup.
